What is SMMWORK?

You engage a fixed-scope package or a monthly retainer, and a dedicated consultant delivers the agreed work: strategy, content production, ad management, community management and reporting. We do not sell engagement, and we do not guarantee specific outcomes.

How do I start working with you?

Create an account and tell us your goals, the platforms you care about and your budget. A consultant reviews them and proposes a package or a monthly retainer with a fixed scope, a fixed price and a delivery schedule. Work begins once the scope is agreed and the invoice is settled.

What is included in a monthly retainer?

Accepted Answer

The exact scope is written into your agreement before any work starts. A typical retainer covers a content plan, an agreed number of content pieces per month, ad campaign setup and management where relevant, community management, and a monthly performance report. Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted separately before we start it.

How many revisions do I get?

Each deliverable includes two rounds of revision within the agreed scope. Further revisions, or changes that expand the scope, are quoted and approved before we begin them.

Who owns the content you produce?

You do. Ownership of the content we produce for you transfers to you once the invoice covering it is paid. We display the work in our own portfolio only if you agree to it in writing.

Do you ever need my account password?

Accepted Answer

No, never. We never ask for, need, or store the password to any of your social accounts. Where a task requires account access, we ask you to grant it through the platform's own delegated access tools, such as Meta Business Manager, which you can revoke at any time. Anyone claiming to need your password is not us, and you should refuse.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

You can pay by credit or debit card, processed by Stripe, or by bank transfer against an invoice. Either way the payment settles a fixed-scope package or a monthly retainer for the agreed consultancy work, and refunds go back to the same payment method. Pricing is set in USD as the base currency, with multi-currency display so you can see approximate amounts in your preferred currency.

Which platforms do you work with?

We work across the major social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Telegram, X, Facebook, Spotify, Twitch and Discord. Which platforms make sense for you is part of the strategy work; we recommend focusing effort rather than spreading it across every channel.

Question 9

When and how do I receive reporting?

Accepted Answer

You receive a written performance report every month covering what was done, what it produced, and what we recommend next. The reporting date and format are set in your agreement before work starts.

Question 10

Is the advertising budget billed separately from your fee?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our consultancy fee covers the work we do. Any advertising spend is paid directly by you to the platform, on your own account, and is never routed through us. We plan and manage the spend, and report on it.

Can I cancel or pause an engagement?

A monthly retainer can be cancelled with 30 days' written notice, effective at the end of the current billing period. Fixed-scope packages can be cancelled before work begins for a full refund; once work has started, our Refund Policy sets out what is returned.
